Well this was a relitivly short and easy chapter to read. I don't really have any questions...
Wait one, where you able to picture that cute little dog pouncing on that tiny beetle? I thought that Mark Twain was able to paint a vivid picture of that scene.

So questions… Can you relate to any of the experiences that Tom has had so far in this book? What do you think of the Sunday school situation? What did you think when Tom bribed for the bible? What do you think of Tom’s opinion of grown-ups showing off? Do you think that he’ll be able to win Amy’s heart? Do you think that he’ll be able to get out of the grave he dug himself?

First Read

The first book we are reading in this years Great Book is Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. This will be an online discussion. We will be posting guiding questions for your comments. It doesn't matter when but you should have a comment up for each chapter and for every post we put up by Friday.
