Well I thought that this was a pretty fun chapter. Couldn't you just imagine Tom and Joe dancing around taking stabs at eachother? Deciding who would kill who. Were you at all surprised by the mention of Robin Hood? What did you think about all of the superstitions that Tom believes in? And blaming the witch on it not working. I had to read the first page or so through a couple times to get the whole meaning. What really confused you in this chapter? I thought it just didn't flow together as well as it normally does and the grammar was very (I'd like to say old here).
Over-all what did you think?

I thought the chapter was interesting especially how superstitous tom is. I was not not really surprised though because basically everyone at this time was very supertitous. Something I have noticed from books written during this time period. Overall I think the book is not very exciting but I don't expect much from Mark Twain.
I also thought that this chapter was interesting to read. I'm really surprised that Tom is so superstitious because it does fit the time frame; like Seth said.
I found it a little funny that at end of the chapter they said that they would rather be outlaws a year in Sherwood Forest than President of the United States forever. I don't know why I just that it was a little funny that they said that.
This chapter was a little easier for me to read. But I think that because I could imagine what was happening during the chapter. The others were harder to imagine.
I agree with Jessi that this chapter was a lot more visual than the past ones.
It was amusing for me to reed about all the little spells Tom uses. I also think its funny he and Joe can reenact Robin Hood by the book, but can’t remember any verses from church. This was a very fun chapter for me to read.
This chapter was a little more interresting to read compared to the last chapters.
I wasn't real surpised that they mention Robin Hood, but I was more surpised that they were able to speak the way they did.
Tom has a great imagination and I agree- the kid is one superstitious sort. To think he believes that if you bury a marble all the ones you lost will suddenly show up is just plain goofy. For all his intelligence, he's also very naive.
It's very clear by this chapter that kids at that time had to make up their own fun. They seem like thoughtful kids because they both made sure each got the chance to be the victor.
Twain is a great writer. He's got great imagination and his writing style clearly shows his voice. I like that.
I think over-all I really don't find this book very ineresting, actually I find this book very boring.
I thought the chapter was good overall. It didn't flow together as much as it could have but it was good. I found all Toms superstitions to be quit amusing. Overall I liked the chapter.
