I didn't really like this chapter, it's very superstitions and I didn't really care for it. I liked the ending of the chapter because it was interesting to see if Tom and Huck would come out of hiding or what might happened if one of the other people saw them(Tom and Huck). I was able to imagine being there but I didn't like what I saw in my mind. The picture I had there wasn't something I wanted.
In the chapter Tom and Huck are the graveyard and they witness the murder of the Doctor.
What is your opinion of the chapter?
What do you think of Injun Joe?
Do you think Tom and Huck will ever tell about what they saw?

I agree with Becca that this chapter was easer to visualize. The murder twist was supper cool too!!!
I thought the book was only going to be about tom getting into minor mischief, but now were getting into some fun stuff.
I thought that mark twain did a pretty good job describing the murder. I could just imagine the looks on Tom and Huck’s faces. I also think there was a nice element of suspense.
I thought that this chapter was better and more exciting than the others so far and as was said easier to visualize.
I already know the answer to the last question so I can't say whether they will or not.
I don't think that Tom and Huck will tell anyone about what they saw. They're too afraid of what Injun Joe might be. He's a vindictive sort. After five years, he still remembers what the doctor did to his father and is bound and determined to make the doctor pay. And pay he does. With his life. Injun Joe is conniving enough to convince Ned Potter he's responsible.
What I wonder is why the doctor paid them to dig up the body in the first place? What did he have to hide I wonder, and what does all this have to do with the rest of the story?
I liked the Chapter because it actually got interesting at the end. I think injun Joe is one of the scariest guys I ever read about. I think that the two boys will tell someone eventually so the wrong person doesn't die over it.
