Chapter 27 and 28

Chapter 27

After believing that the treasure and all they went through yesterday was all a dream. Tom and Huck are searching for the, patch eyed Spanish’s number 2. What do you think number two is? (Besides 2.) What do you think about Tom and Huck’s knack of coming across things they shouldn’t be seeing? First Potter and now Injun Joe and his friend.

Chapter 28

They’re staking the tavern. The first three days, nothing. Thursday however, Tom disappeared down the alley behind the tavern to try the backdoor. Before Huck could meet up with Tom, Tom comes tearing out of the alley, yelling for Huck to run. Later, when they caught their breath Tom tells of who he finds behind the door. Injun Joe, drunk. Tom didn’t notice the box or anything. Which I don’t blame him due to the fact if I almost stepped on a known murderer and probably a guy who wouldn’t hesitant to hurt you. They plan for Huck to stand watch over the door, and fetch Tom whenever he does. Then Tom will hopefully find the box and take it.

Do you think their plan is going to work?

I think Huck might run into some trouble but nothing real big.

I think number two is a place to retreat to; a place to hide out when needed.

For chapter 28; I don't think their plan is going to work. I don't think it will work because Injun Joe might notice Tom even though he is drunk.
